Overview
Peakfit ("we"/"us") collects only the minimum personal data needed to deliver our fitness and nutrition features. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices. We access and collect Health Data (as defined below) to provide our services; we disclose that access and use here.
Health Data – access, collection and use
Our app accesses and/or collects Health Data to provide fitness and nutrition functionality. We disclose this clearly so you can make an informed choice.
Data accessed and/or collected:
- Workout and exercise data: exercises you log, sets, reps, duration, rest times, workout templates, and related metadata.
- Nutrition and meal data: meals you log, food items, portions, calories, protein, carbohydrates, fat, and other nutritional information you enter or that we derive (e.g. from photo analysis).
- Body and measurement data: weight, body measurements, and similar data you choose to enter.
- Other health-related data: any other health or fitness information you voluntarily provide in the app (e.g. goals, notes).
How we use Health Data: We use this data solely to provide and improve our app services—for example: displaying your workout and nutrition history, calculating and showing statistics and progress, personalizing your experience, and enabling features such as templates and meal logging. We do not sell your Health Data. We do not use Health Data for advertising or marketing unrelated to the app. Health Data is stored securely and may be processed by our service providers only as needed to operate the app, under strict data protection commitments.
You can access, correct, or delete your Health Data through the app or by contacting us. Deleting your account will result in deletion of your Health Data in line with our data retention practices.
Children under 13
Peakfit is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information or Health Data from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child under 13 has provided us with personal or health data, please contact us and we will delete it. If your target audience includes children under 13, you must ensure your use of our app complies with applicable laws (e.g. COPPA) and app store requirements.
